I'm looking to get a sleeve about the size that you have on your right arm. How much did it cost and which part of your arm hurt the most when it happened?

I don't think he is stubborn. I tipped my artist $20,00 for my first tattoo ($180 tattoo took 3 hours) and $5 for my 2nd one ($25.00 tattoo took 15 minutes). Mainly because I love him and his work! You don't HAVE to tip, but it is a kind gesture that shows appreciation.

Anyone else think this guy is a stubborn ass hole?

@MrMorbidink yeah but what if the tattoo artist is the owner of the store! oh exactly, case fucking closed

@ligerdrag20 Disagree. Most shops in the uk charge by the hour. If the work doesnt take an hour you still pay for the full hour. This happens pretty much everywhere over here. Im certanly not gonna tip in this situation

@GAMEBOY379 People pay a lot for art and isn't that basically what tattoo artists are doing? they are doing an original for you which requires even more care because they can't just get a new canvas if they mess up. I think they charge accordingly and deserve a fair amount as a tip.

i aint tippin shit

@AliciaCrackerDawn Saying that it's not someone's fault that they don't shower or brush their teeth is ridiculous. It is their fault. It's ENTIRELY their fault. That's why it's called PERSONAL hygiene. It's no ones responsibility but their own.

At first the video made sense until you got to the "Worst customer part", instead of really explaining how bad the experience was, you ended up changing it into how funny it was i.e. the funniest/humorous customer you had. Also, a tip is always optional. You get paid to work as a tattoo artist, hence you don't survive on customer tips. They shouldn't feel obliged too. It's a business, not a donation center.

@JesusOfSuburbia11511 LOL you wanna see a lars ulrich look alike look at my fiancee. But great video <3
The ink is cheap enough to buy and not alot gets used in tattoo not even in a big piece and tattoo artists over charge for their time anyways. I think they make enough money and can live without being given tips lol. Keep the customer happy and they will come back for more tattoos and will recommend you to other people, its not about the tips.

@iLoveAltNation the money we make through the tattoo does not go directly to them. it goes to the company itself to pay all of the expenses and bills and supplies and theeeen we get paid. its just like tipping a waitress. shes already getting paid . before you decide to try to put an artist done. know what we have to go through for all these people that do the things he just stated.
