Recorded Live in Texas, this old time gospel favorite features Johnny Cook and Vestal Goodman in a "sing-off" to determine who sing the highest! Just one of the memorable moments from New Haven Films' heartwarming DVD, available at www.newhavenrecords.com or wherever you buy music.

  • @preacherswifey He's late?

  • Johnny Cook was one of a kind. Now he's singing with the heavenly choir.

  • Wait...you mean Burt Hummel isn't Kurt's real dad?

  • @ldleold You & me both!

  • That was awesome. Don't think I've ever seen a video with Vestal in it that was quite this old. That was great.

  • MY !! MY!! How I would have LOVE to have heard this live...

  • Oops, didn't mean to post it twice, sorry.

  • One of the best, true... The Anchormen, 20 years ago, used to do this "up one" rotation on this song with their tenor, Brian Routh, who could stand right with Cook. Nothing against Cook, smoothness that high is indeed rare from a male singer, but those two (and a couple more) could do it.
