How come people use a quill type pen for inking instead of a micron type pen?

@phongbong a quill is flexible and tapers, so it's a lot easier to get greater line variation in the line weights, than you can with say a micron. If you want a dead weight line though, you'd go with something like a micron, or rapidograph. Pretty sure I discuss this somewhere in one of the later videos.

with this panel...as you finish it... i get a "marc silvestri" vibe. it has a kind of "organic" quality to the art...which is how i heard someone refer to his art..and is a huge compliment as far as i am concerned to be compared to him. great and interesting video sir. i plan on watching the whole series as time allows today. THANKS for sharing..

Thanks for recording the process for us fans, it's great to watch it unfold. Watching a good artist draw is for me more fun than watching a good movie.... although this is kinda both...
