  • No...this was the Buckeye Cereal Co., on First SW, just N. of the Mass-Cleve-Akron Sign Co. The Cere's was on Tremont SW, across the river at the W. end of the viaduct.

  • Is this where the Cere's Feed Mill sat?

  • My Mom (to those of you who know-Dona Reed, the longtime Massillon Public Library Children's Room Librarian who did many storytimes from 1976-2007) was the one who told me about this fire-she remembered it well. She was 14 at the time & was swimming with her friends at either High Mill or Lake Cable when they came back to town & this was going on. In my reading about it., an MPD motorcycle officer was injured when he wiped out his bike at Walnut & Erie escorting fire units to the scene.

  • I used to live in sandy township,my home was in the sandyvalley estates park from 1995 to 2008,after my mother passed away in july 8 08,i know live in sioux falls south dakota, but i miss driving thru massillon,i like the video.
