Steely Dan - Kid Charlemagne (Live)

Man, saw the TO show last night "aja" in it's entirety. Keith Carlock is insane on the kit, positively mind blowing. Herington too, stellar guitar work. It wasn't a cheap ticket but man was it good. If I were a rich man I'd be back tonight for 'the royal scam'. The whole band was on fire and Twatha, Carolyn, and Catherine, yikes, dead sexy and sounding soooo sweet.

They have so many tunes that are tens...this one is an eleven !! Thurs night 11/26 at Massey Hall for me ! Can't wait. Had tix for '03 show when they were in town, but the Northeast Blackout happened and cancelled the world 'round here for a couple of days.

I saw the "Royal Scam" show at the Tower....Fantasic show.!! Jon Herington stole the show. He is amazing! They also shoud NOT let Walter sing!!

Whoah, why was it cancelled? I'm supposed to see them in 2 days, third row, in a fantastic venue here in Toronto. Massey Hall is a brilliant place.  I hope they don't cancel Toronto.

Sounds just as good as it did when I first heard it 30 some years ago.

@tinachipp Did you find out if the Dan is coming around. Oh shoot Im in Boston . Did you find a schedule?

darn it all! yes i found out i missed them by about 10 days . . . they played san francisco! i'll have to catch them next time around.  i got to see them in texas during the 90's - great show!

@tinachipp they actually did 3 nights in San Francisco and I missed them too!

they sure didn't do a very good job advertising their shows! guess you had to be "in the know" - perhaps we can catch them next time around.
