He did not get it wrong. When we partake of the bread and wine, we are it says in scripture partaking of the the blood and body of Christ as Christ said to His disciples, you must eat my flesh and drink my blood. The bread and wine are symbolic of those things but it clearly says that it what you are partaking of. However, the Catholics believe that the bread and wine is so holy in itself and actually is the body and blood even as you eat it. Hope thats clear!

did not jesus broke the bread and said do this as often in remembers of him, for the bread was his body and the spirit is the wine, then he lift up the wine and pray and pass the wine, isn't it sad believers who don't do as jesus command seem to suffer more and is sick more in the main streams of the church world, those who take communion often goes on living happier and healthier lives, and they are spirituallly rich and prospect greatly on the outside as well. food for thought, trust in love

@AlienshateU Taking communion is in the Bible. What Roman Catholics would do is force people to take it and believe they were literally eating the body of Christ. In history Roman Catholics would kill those who didn't eat it.
