  • this is great FW, but i have to say that no exit was the masterpiece. No disrespect to john arch but i think ray is the better vocalist

  • @fireguye4 : I have followed FW over 25 years and as you may guess I'm partial to John Arch. I agree that technically Ray Alder is a better vocalist and his vocal tone is really good, especially on PSOG, love that album. But John Arch was very unique in that he approached his vocals like a melodic instrument. You can hear this especially on The Spectre Within and Awaken the Guardian how he overdubbed his vocal harmonies to create a melody line while the guitars played backing rhythm. FW \m/ !!

  • @1216saab ??? Number of the Beast was '82...

  • JOHN ARCH IS LEGEND !

  • @rengoff66 Of course Bruce Dickenson was in a band called Samson at the time...not really recognized.

  • Real FW is back, search Arch / Matheos

  • The singer sounds a lot like Rik Emmett from Triumph.

  • Man the sound is so crappy on the tube, going now to put the vinyl on...!

  • amazing song

  • For as long as I have listened to FW I really feel that both John and Ray are great vocalists. They are to me almost similar in range and tone. Would love to hear them do a duet.

  • i think paralells and no exit where truely there best work they really shined on those albums

  • I love this band the first two albums are the best. I must point out that this guy had to be influenced by Bruce Dickinson. Listen to Powerslave, major similarity in the vocals. Definitely not taking anything away from FW its more of a compliment due to the fact that they are very original. If you like this band you would like Helstar another great mid 80s band before it got ruined by Girly Metal..
