  • @shadmehr2008 Don't worry. Whenever I feel like that when I'm already in a plane, I think of the most dangerous thing there is about flying: The way to the airport. ;-)

I believe the fuel it uses for a whole flight (of 12 hours) is enough to power the average family car 12,000 miles per year; for 300 years! The amount of fuel burned just getting to takeoff position 1 from the gate (at Hong Kong for example) in a 777-300 LR is about 850 pounds of jet fuel without waiting! Thats enough to power a 1300cc car for much more than a year, and that is just taxiing.

  • what was that prarallal landing from you a a319?

  • Nice video.

  • A 747-400 has six million parts, half of which are fasteners. A 747-400 has 171 miles (274 km) of wiring and 5 miles (8 km) of tubing. A 747-400 consists of 147,000 pounds (66,150 kg) of high-strength aluminum. The 747-400 has 16 main landing gear tires and two nose landing gear tires. The 747-400 tail height is 63 feet 8 inches (19.4 m), equivalent to a six-story building...

  • Fuel The 747-400ER can carry more than 63,500 gallons of fuel (240,370 L), making it possible to fly extremely long routes, such as Los Angeles to Melbourne, Australia. A 747-400 that flies 3,500 statute miles (5,630 km) and carries 126,000 pounds (56,700 kg) of fuel will consume an average of five gallons (19 L) per mile. The 747-400 carries 3,300 gallons (12,490 L) of fuel in the horizontal (tail) stabilizer, allowing it to fly an additional 350 nautical miles.......

  • Favorite airplane :)

  • I really have to say that this is one of my favorite YouTube videos of a Boeing 747 taking off and flying above clouds. Wow @dgl1962 I think it is pretty interesting how one engine of an 747 burns 15 gallons of fuel per minute.

  • @dgl1962 On take off try 150 gallons a minute.... until cruiseing at higher altitude

  • @kirby4d Wouldn't a gallon a minute in a car be 60 gallons in one hour of driving? I don't know of any car that gets that horrible of gas mileage.

  • @MrZulu2065 ok

  • @shadmehr2008 dud briten up man airplanes are awsome i amin 9th grade and plan on being a pilot
