Nice car. Looks like a Grand National that just started recieving food stamps....
Love the 2 door b-bods.
Have 77 Impala and 85 Delta 88 coupes.
Wanting 80s landau and 77-79 delta coupe...
-
but they do look bad.

I would not call it a sleeper too much. should have left the paint alone. My dad had a old Malbu wagon with a 350 and a small nitrous system on it. I would run low 12's with the right tires. It has woody sides... it was a sleeper.

Nice ride, the two door ones are very rare. My first car was an 88. Man i loved that car, still do!
hey i have a question. do you have a low fuel light on your year caprice. i took my gauge cluster off but there is no place for a light bulb where the fuel hand goes

No I don't. I don't remember seeing one ever light up and I have run out of gas with this car once.

Ah u kno what i didnt put the shims on because when i took the old starter off it didnt have any shims on it but the flywheel looks fine no teeth on it look chiped

I have never put a starter on that did not need shims. Losen up the bolts and put some in and see what that does. That is the problem with starters, most companies do not put that tight of a tolerance on the starter. Keeps the price lower than what it could be.

its sounds as if its coming from the flywheel or the starter sometimes it cranks sometimes it jus scratches

When you put the starter on, did you shim it so the starter fit just perfect? If a starter is not matched up just right then the gear will not engage into the flywheel. Also look at the flywheel, if you can and see if you are missing a tooth.
