Stories of 6 people challenging stigma and discrimination surrounding mental illness. See the other 5 stories on You Tube. People living with mental illness regularly identify that stigma and discrimination urgently need to change. The 6 stories are personal accounts from people from diverse backgrounds who have directly experienced stigma and discrimination due to having a mental illness. Although the participants live very different lives, their common fight against stigma and discrimination has brought them together for the purposes of this project. Produced by the NSW Consumer Advisory Group - Mental Health Inc.

  • Read Explaining colours to a blind man. Not only will it enlighten many as to what living with a mental illness and chronic fatigue syndrome is like, it also gives comfort to those sufferers who think there is no hope and that they are alone. It is very informative, sometimes shocking but also very funny in parts. All in all, a good read and highly recommended.
