  • @segoiii Both engines have the same power and torque curve up until 5000rpm, BUT the 60hp has an even longer overall gearing (2800rpm@100kmh in fifth). This also explains the better fuel consumption of the weaker engine. Same car speed and gear considered, the 60hp engine has about 7% fewer revs (turning out less Nm) that get multiplied by a 7% longer transmission. I'm pretty sure you can feel the difference on the road.

  • @fryster123 you dont get the point. Because you are right ... nobody will rev such a citycar beyond 5000RPM. BUT ... that means that the 75hp engine is useless. Because both engines have THE SAME hp up to 5000RPM. You wont feel any difference. If the 75hp had more torque you would feel it in every single rev.

  • @segoiii Its not strange. Why would you buy one of the most economical cars on the market to drive it fast? All naturally aspirated petrol engines usually have max power at max rpm.

  • I'm surprised by the 3000rpm@100kmh in fifth. Must be a very relaxed (and economical) cruiser.

  • Love it, My up! comes end of May !

  • if it´s 75hp, then why redline begins at 6000RPM ? This machine has its max hp at 6300RPM. You would have to drive in redline to have max hp. Thats strange.
