Band project - Joe Jonas Love Story Chapter 1

Sooo.. this is the first chapter :D I dedicate this to Shay081793 :) my 1st friend on this account.

(Amelias POV)
I sat in the empty studio like classroom waiting alone in silence. The bell hadn't gone yet but I like to be early, I like to have time to think without any interruptions. I cant help but let my mind wander to the one boy I have ever really liked: Joe Jonas. Unfortunately hes never really noticed me before but I sure have taken a liking to him. Ive not spoken to him much, only a couple of times when I've been with Nick his younger brother. Joe just seems so flawless so perfect. I'm the complete opposite, I'm probably the most clumsiest person you would ever meet. I'm the one you see walking down the street tripping over mid air or walking into street lights. I'm not very popular in school, never have been, never will be. I like it this way, I'm not too fond of attention. Unlike Joe's current girlfriend, Lauren, she loves attention, she cant get enough of it! She's been making mine and Aimees life hell since we got to this school, I swear she'll be out to kill us one day. Luckily she's only in one of my classes, drama. My favourite class is music, which is what I'm in now.
My thinking time was over as people started filing in through the large double doors. Joe walked in with Lauren in tow, they weren't holding hands or anything but Joe's arm went around her shoulders as soon as they sat down. I couldn't help but feel jealous, I would give anything just to be in her place right now. I'm not surprised he never seems to talk to me much, I cant even form sentences without the nervous 'uhm..' and 'err's in between. I just get so nervous around him, I cant even think straight. My mind goes blank every time I look into his chocolate brown eyes.
Aimee soon came walking through the door with Nick, they both took a seat; Aimee next to me and Nick on the other side of her.
"Morning Amelia!" Aimee said with a huge smile on her face, I don't get how she can be so happy in the morning.
"Morning" I replied without taking my eyes off Joe. He was laughing at something one of his friends said, for a minute I thought he looked over at me but he was smiling at Nick.
"You still perving at my brother?" Nick asked playfully. I turned to him and narrowed my eyes "No." was all I said, he knows me too well so theres no point in arguing with him. He smiled and rolled his eyes "you should talk to him more, I'm sure he'd like you if you two got to know each other a little better". Now it was my turn to roll my eyes "I wish.."
Mr Wynn walked in and stood in front of the class. He cleared his throat once trying to get all of our attention, some people turned to him but others carried on their conversations. He 'coughed' again and finally got everyone's attention. "Since you all did so well on your last project and all managed to write a song on your own and perform it, I'm going to let you form a band. The best band will perform at this years prom!" everyone turned to look at each other, finding people who could possibly be in their band. Joe shot a glance at Nick and Nick nodded.
"I'm going to give you five minutes to sort out your band members.." Mr Wynn turned to walk out of the room. Joe stood up and started walking over in our direction, my heart started racing and my stomach was tying in knots. He stopped in front of us all and smiled "Can I be with you guys? Lauren wants to be in an all girl group" He rolled his eyes. I couldn't help but smile.
"Sure" Nick winked at me "do you want to sing?" He asked Joe.
"Can I play piano?!" Aimee asked standing up from the chair she was sat in.
"Yeah okay, can I play guitar?" Nick asked. We all nodded.
"Now its just Amelia.." Joe said. Oh wow! He knows my name! "What do you want to do?" He gave me one of his smiles that makes every girls heart melt.
"uhm.." My words got stuck in my throat "Well... I could be a backing singer? Or err.. play guitar as well as nick or something?" I managed to get out, I probably sound so stupid!
" You could sing lead with me if you wanted to?" Joe offered. oh my god, I think I'm going to pass out! I smiled and nodded, thats all I could manage right now.

I know its not that good right now, but it should get better soon :D I just need to build it up a little bit.
