Sukhothai noodles in Bangkok? If they are this delicious, why not? Here, at Somsong Pochana in the heart of Bangkok's Old City, you will find a table with a view, and a bowl with some seriously good flavor (Sukhothai-style).

  • Hi sorry it took me so long to respond, I was in China and couldn't access Youtube. I still can't really see the video and don't remember too well, but I think we have deep-fried garlic, granulated sugar, palm sugar (the orange-y paste), two kinds of vinegars (pounded chilies and sliced chilies), tamarind juice (giving it a flavor similar to pad thai), and what should be fish sauce but here looks a lot like soy sauce (not quite right).

  • Alright,I don't know how this noodle shop has been famous in the past. But I went there a few times in different occations, tried all types of their dishes.Honestly, noodle ain't good and always too sweet. The rice topped with curry is soso,so basically nothing special.

  • Wow. This looks delicious! It's actually my first time seeing this dish.

  • This dish is exact I want to eat everyday!

  • Bangkok Glutton is my new favorite channel name. So perfectly describes what the food makes you want to be. Easy sub - great vid. Saving your other 3 to watch at lunch.

  • @bangkokglutton thanks for answering my q's. i appreciate it.

  • what is the powdery stuff to the side of the fried chili oil?

  • what are all the sauces that he put into there after the garlic? im guessing one of them is fish sauce but wat about the other one? and do you know wat all the garnishes are? it looks soo good. is the broth that he blanced the noodles in flavored or jus plain stock?
