The idea was to finally put the detainees on trial. The Innocent would be released, and the guilty would be punished. I dont's see what's so shocking about paying repeations to people ACCUSED of conspiring agianst the USA if the accusations turn out to be FALSE. Anyway, Obama didn't even go through with doing that. His party held the absolute majority for two years, but he still managed to blame his failure on the Republicans. No wonder peple are disenchanted with him...

@Jcw3g it may be a bit "loaded"....but as Maj. Garret has stated, the Amnesty International, as well as people inside of our government has already stated this.....So to not have our president give a clear stance on the issue, is just fence posting in my opinion.-Stand on the post, not on either side, so one can look as though he is on both sides.-....What Maj. Garret and others have said is very true and is an issue for the administration to deal with.....Why is it such a bad question?

what a stupid video all major garret was trying to do was somehow link government spending to suspected terrorists and "welfare to terrorists" Its a dumb question and a set up question all he wants to do is get a yes answer so his people at fox can lead with "Obama supports welfare for terrorists". @Jcw3g I agree that no President would want to answer that loaded question But Major Garret should have been allowed to ask it anyway. And what Major was also doing was making the point that if the President supports their release then isn't he supporting immediate public assistance for them as well? If 50% of the people oppose their release, Major is citing one reason why. The Pres. could have dodged the question or answered the question honestly. Instead, they Censored the point being made.
