@ujdo except the British way it's spelled Aluminium and that's why it's pronounced differently. Besides even the US version is pronounced differently.... the empasis is on LU and not UM. Is English not your first language?

For aluminum, it's sometime hard to stop: aluminuminuminum....
If your British, the emphasis is in the middle: aluMINum where in the US it's more like aluminUM.
