  • Exactly what I was looking for, thanks Kris! :)

  • In costume-->select files

    i added these folders and order

    C:\Windows

    C:\Cache (this is fire fox cache)

    C:\Program Files (x86)

    C:\Program Files

    C:\users\my user name account\Documents

    is this order correct or should i arrange it.

  • I think you will want to specify respect archive but NOT respect performance. Reason is that, you are trying to say, IF it's in the performance folder selection then cool, but if the file being defragged meets both performance AND archive criteria, then go with archive. For a D drive with a program folder, I would say respect performance and keep entire program folder on fast part... but in example above, this would be ideal for windows/program/profiles folder on a C drive.

  • hey thnx for sharing this video.I know this program long time ago,but i hae a question.When u run the program do u have to close all opened programs,cause i dont close them?Will smth in my pc going to be damaged ,please helpp me .I need it :D..Waiting the response soon,best regards.....

  • I used Diskeeper, but it just didn't get the job done. All the files couldn't be defragmented. So I configured UltimateDefrag... and it worked. The whole thing worked. I am defragmenting right now. The fragmentation decreased from 32 percent to only 11 percent, and it's still busy, not done yet.

  • No disrespect, but the word "archive" is pronounced "arc-hive" and when said quickly, the "h" is silent, like "arc-ive". You're saying "ar-chiv". Regard.

  • Not really sure what I did wrong, but I used this app today and it put ALL of my files to the very inner portion of the disc(s)--I have a raid 0 setup. Only the pagefile, and hibersys. file remained at the outer edge. After that my system was noticably stuttering and lagging--so I used Piniform Defraggler to fix things.

  • when i defragment C: drive the free space goes down for example it was 52GB free and when i defragmented it went to 50GB

  • Every since I have downloaded this software, my computers are waaaaay faster. It is some of the best software I have seen in years! Once again thanks to the author for this video. I am sure many people are very much appreciative of it.

  • lmao, the standard windows 7 defrag tool said my hdd was 1% fragmented, i downloaded ultimate defrag v1 and it said 39%! i set it to "auto" and in about 2 hours, my hard drive was blazing! my hard drive is pretty much the slowest 320gb hard drive you can find, a seagate barracuda 7200.9. this tool is awesome and i will get the 2008 version for sure!
