  • It's a joke. It is meant to be funny. Laugh.

  • Take your time - having an elite instrument before your time only spoils the fun when you're actually ready for one. I give that advice to so many parents, they buy their kids get RC Prestiges or, at minimum, R13s, then the kids quit a year later because the instrument's not right.

  • Speaking of price you guys, buffet just increased the price of their instruments because of global demands and environmetal impact. The cost of producing and shipping and obtaining materials has been greatly affected by inflation.

Pro bassoons can cost upwards of $25,000 US.

Gold flutes can cost about $50,000.

The clarinet is actually a cheap instrument to play, not to maintain though. Even the List price of a Tosca, around $10,000 doesn't beat most other instruments. THE top of the line.

  • why is the mouthpiece upside-down? ._.

  • What a potty video! No value at all.

  • That poor clarinet.. I produced a better sound on my plastic Bundy when I was10 years old!

  • :17 how dare he make such a sound on that instrument.....give it to me ;/

  • @daisenseiciccone

Because they're of high quality. The Evettes are older student models. The wood ones should cost more. Think about how Buffet is going into africa to get wood, spending quality time building, and testing. The Buffets are just worth the quality.

  • I wish you knew, what it's like in Hungary... I've been playing the clarinet for some 7 years by now, and I still have the Czech student clarinet (Amati), which I started with... Maybe next year I will be able to buy a Buffet...

  • Yeah thats so true...i know a girl that bought an R-13 as a senior then went on to do nursing in college...

    Im fine with my E-11...lol
