San Francisco Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Rajagopal uses Botox for jaw line reduction and facial slimming in Asian cosmetic surgery.

In Asia, jaw bone reduction surgery has been increasing in popularity for slimming down prominent, round faces. However, BOTOX® Cosmetic, which is well known for treating wrinkles and frown lines, can alternatively be used for facial contouring. Instead of undergoing invasive and complicated jaw bone reduction surgery with a plastic surgeon, using BOTOX® injections to contour the face and jaw line requires no downtime afterward and it is safer, faster, and less expensive. The full slimming effect becomes apparent approximately two weeks after the treatment and these results can last anywhere from four to eight months.

  • To bad you did not show a before and after results

  • @3444sc at the time the video was uploaded we didn't have the after photos. You can find the before & afters on my site. If you search "botox sfcosmeticsurgery," and scroll a bit down the page, you can see the before & afters of this patient & another patient. And, there is quite a difference!

  • I understand this isnt a permamnat procedure. If, however, after multiple treatments can they start to last longer?

  • @stiflersmomishot it varies from patient to patient, but generally after 2-3 treatments it lasts longer (6-9 months)

  • the things people do for beauty

  • @KawaiiAznPanda7 I agree. I have a square/roundish face, a large, wide nose, and small, wide-set eyes. I'm a girl, and I'm Asian. At times, I feel too masculine because of my features, but I have not been mistaken for a boy yet, nor have people mentioned that I'm masculine-looking... but I believe that I am.. :/

I'm honestly considering getting the Botox treatment for jawline when I'm old enough...

  • looks painful

  • hey hey! Have you ever tried - fast abs magic (do a search on google)? Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my father got detailed Six pack abs and lost a truck load of of belly fat with it.

  • I think if she lose some fat on her face it would be better than getting a botox...

  • Why do you guys hate a round face I would DIEmto be asian they look so cute you guys are lucky I have a slim face around the jaw and I want it bigger haha

  • @HollyJeanMonroe yeah. I have quite "masculine" facial features (small eyes, large nose, wide squarish/roundish jaw), but many people have told me that I'm quite feminine and pretty. I don't understand it, haha...

My mom told me that you can have "masculine" features, but can still have a feminine-looking face because of the way those features come together. Is that true..?

Emily Browning has a wide jaw, a wide nose, and small eyes. But she's still very feminine-looking. So I guess it's true..
