I'm English and remember bitterly both of Maradona's goals against us in the '86 QF - surely the two most famous goals in WC history? In spite of everything I watched Diego in the 86 WC as an awestruck 12 yr old and I feel privileged to have done so, after seeing him no other player has left me open mouthed in astonishment. On one level there is every other footballer who ever laced boots, on an entirely different level, by himself, there is Diego Armando Maradona.

Great song that brings me back many happy memories from childhood. Just discovered that the singer, Stephanie Lawrence played main characters in many Andrew L. Webber musicals, including Evita. Michael Caine was the voice of the documental "hero". Great quality.

@5overlord @5overlord I am argentinian and glad to see an english recognizes Maradona dispite the first goal. After that match Maradona himself said that he was respectfull of english players since he could have never scored the second goal if they would committed infraction to him. Those words the day after the match were overshadowed by his "hand of God" words he said just after the match. Shilton was a disaster in that match. Forgive my poor english and regards from BsAs.
