I finally finished getting all of the limited series of "Marineman", and I have to agree with you on the review in general. Whereas Churchill's art and storytelling style is still very effective, the story itself was a bit predictable, the only big surprise I was thrown was him discovering that he was the end product of some sick bizarre Nazi experiment. I was initially attracted to the story cause of the art and that I have a book that I am developing with similar tones, except on land....

Dude...Issue 5 had a major reveal about Marineman's origin. I am really looking forward to the next issue. Issue 6 will be the conclusion and then there will be a new marineman series starting with issue 1 (or I read on marinemans blog)

It tried to be a major reveal but unfortunately I saw it coming early on. A new marineman series? I'll have to check that blog out. I want this series to do well just a bit of a slow beginning.

Never read any of Marineman... just didn't seem like something I would be interested in.

I'm a sucker for water themed characters. Thanks man I appreciate you watching, I'll be uploading small vids of some older books that I'll review and hopefully tomorrow I'll get a couple dc books and get that review up on time.
