A chinchilla is not a rat!! it is a small mammal that ya that sort of looks like a squirrel BUT is VERY different. To learn more about chinchillas visit your local pet shop or look them up on line OR and i would suggest this most of all if you want to learn about chinchillas very well is watch some more videos that jamie has made because Ive personally did not know anything about chinchillas until I had seen Jamie's videos and sence then Ive learned a lot of things about chinchillas.:)
