Daegu, september the 2nd 2011. Final of the shot put men of the 2011 world championships in Daegu. Wonderful victory for David storl with 21.78m at his last attempt, and who is still 21; he is also the current world junior record holder. His PB before the championships was 21.05m. He beats canadian's Dylan Armstrong (21.64m) who is 2011 world leader. Andrei Mikhnevich is 3rd with 21.40m, the first american athlete, Christian Cantwell (2009 world champion) is 4th

  • Storl Is A Goon Haha

  • @liamchenry92 The Americans seemed off in this championship, but the fact that they generally win and the World Record is by an American would suggest over the years they haven't been bad at it.

  • @damnDworld heh never again those were the days of fully drugged up athletes. He was like 6'3 and has I think near the most throws over 70 feet with the glide at his height was ridiculous. This guy is 6'7 and barley threw around 71 feet with this best day ever. I don't think youll see the record broken till you get perfection conditions and really tall spinner.

  • @CJDTRS60 That's not over 70 ft, that's over 21 METERS. Learn to use metric system.

  • 4 guys over 70' pretty good world championships

  • resse se so slim

  • David Storl the next Ulf Timmermann

  • where is Reese?

  • @ohedd Of course i am serious! The glide is just as amazing as the rotation. Oh, and the Americans are terrible at the Rotation.
