  • is it only you or are all americans so sensitive when they hear the word liberal? oh well, you say bush is a great president. that explains everything. I'm surprised that bush didnt bomb an aspirin factory.

if someone says "socialism", americans hear "communism". besides norway, france has the greatest health care in the world. I guess americans need some time to overcome the issue that socialism doesnt means oppresion.

btw god is only a myth. love and prayers cant prove anything.

  • Is it just me or are they laying it all on a bit thick? The economy will correct itself as it always has regardless of the prez. I do not care for the scary talk.. We need to educate this country. And that means we must all step up.

  • We, the people of the World fear the loss of freedom more than anything else, even death.

Most are speaking out of fear of losing freedom and looking back on history, I can not disagree with them.

  • rea1001,

his cabinet - ponder on this: Bush signed a lot of anti-freedom executive orders & Acts, as did previous Presidents, but thing is - how many people do you know that were suppressed with the Patriot Act?

'They' probably used Bush to stage the discontent in the public but without harming the society /much/, then rush in Obamasavior to pass whatever they have planned.

All great change in society comes this way, other way is World War. But is CHANGE for the better?

  • "Give me liberty or give me death!"

I lived in the former USSR, Europe, trust me brother when it comes to liberty & freedom I'll do whatever it takes to kill whoever oppresses your or my freedom.

'Liberty or death, what we so proudly hail

Once you provoke her, rattling of her tail

Never begins it, never, but once engaged...

Never surrenders, showing the fangs of rage'

Metallica - Don't tread on me

  • rea1001,

You and I know he is a puppet, as Bush was a puppet, Clinton, Bush Sr., Reagan, Nixon, even FDR.

You can not stop what is comming, I'm afraid, but give him a 'chance', if he fails to deliver - it is not your right, but DUTY to disobey the law (there are no LAWS anymore in the US, only rules as recent Banking bailout scheme suggests).

  • competition is not the answer for a world in poverty, compassion and i dont see any leaders standing up to do anything different. period.
