canada was in the boer war, ww1, ww2, korea and afghan. canada is no differnt then any1 else. i would say SWITZERLAND iz a better x-ample. 700yrs since their last war.or SWEDEN. not CANADA.

@chadberry75 They didn't stay totally out...you know, with helping the Nazis keep the North Sea out of Russian naval hands. And expressing their sympathies to the Nazis during that time. Yep, good thing to be neutral. You stay away from the conflict by selling out your brothers and sisters to save your own skin. Very good values to follow. I like Canada's way. We don't want war. But we won't watch our friends fall and suffer either.

@chadberry75 yes, ww2, what a great time to remain 'NEUTRAL'! The Swiss were so not-involved that they secretly hid Nazi loot and other moneys and treasures, most of it confiscated from their tyranny. And then, stayed out of the way when the Nazis used their railways to send troops, money, equipment from Germany to Italy to help in the war effort. Oh yes, great example. And Sweden stood by as every country around them fell standing up to the Nazis, and then said, let's stay out of this....but
