My comment has been misinterpreted. I'm talking about people who have the "oh this was on a cool tv show, that means it's a cool song, i'm cool, i like cool songs" mentality. I found loads of good songs of the tv that I still listen to

Just because people discovered it through a TV show doesn't mean they don't genuinely like it, it's not some form of competition in liking music. I'm sure the band would want their music to be discovered, fuck wits.
