Taxi
You can, of course, get a taxi into central Rome by using the taxi stand in front of Fiumicino airport. Use only authorised taxis (white vehicles with a taximeter) available at the arrivals areas of each terminal. A taxi ride should cost about 40 Euros.

Can you can get a taxi for a family ( 2 adults and 3 children) and luggage to go to Rome center? Hong Kong is the only place I have been where a family of 5 can get into an ordinary taxi

Customs & immigration can be hectic at busy times in the summer, but not as hectic as American airports - from our recent experience flying into New York.
The exit gate shown in the video, is approx 6-10 minutes walk to the train station. Just follow the signs.
