You know the lyric "Though the night is black as my skin," ? at 0:40 I can tell that you changed it somehow, but I want to know what exactly you say instead (I can't quite make it out, for some reason), because I am a white girl like you who REALLY wants to sing this song in front of an audience and personally, I think it'd be awkward to say that my skin was black when I'm one of the palest people I know...
So it'd be GREAT to know what you say instead, so I could do that too, please. Thanks!

hey there...just wanted to offer my two cents here. a song like this doesn't have a lot of build on its own so you have to create it. which you did with your voice! however, you also have to do it with your body. use the power of stillness at the beginning and CONSERVE movement to pivotal emotional moments. this applies even to hand movement. it isn't until the very end with the freestyle that you should be roaming at all and even then, CONSERVE. best of luck!

thanks for your comments-this is Thea's parent-but remember Thea is only 13 years of age-and she does have a performance coach who advises Thea on matters such as this and I think she is amazing for such a young girl-all will come with time!! but thanks anyway
