Can Canada Catch the Renewable Energy Boom?

Renewable energy could be providing a significant portion of our society's energy needs, and creating a whole new stream of economic opportunity, if done right. The obstacles to achieving a clean energy future are not technical, they are political and psychological. Because not enough people believe such a future is possible, they do not demand it. Because most politicians cannot envision it, and too few citizens are demanding it, our economy carries along its polluting way with subsidized "conventional" energy.
