A quick look at the new offering from the puppy Linux crew,and a good improvement it is too,speed wise is faster than 4.2,but there are a few things still to be sorted,but if you the puppy lot,it wont be long....watch in HD..

  • a joke...took me hours to dl and burn so many failed cd, also fail to install.

    Berry or Knoppix works great thought no wifi dongle support for the old version. Come on guys, throw me something here...it's the reuse ability of these old PC and keep them from the landfill that really helping mother Earth.

  • @UnitedPebbles you should try wary 5.1,i have it on sneekyboy's laptop and(he is 6 years old by the way) it works quite ok,please bear in mind that it would be a good idea for you to get a gparted live iso,and partition your disk first,and give yourself a lot of swap to start with,so say your h/d is 6 gig,make your swap 1 gig,and your primary the other five,then chuck in the pup disc of your choice and off ya go...nice

  • from windows try to burn this iso with burn image disk(use burnaware software free)...keep al other software from pc closed after succesyfoul burn restart computer and pres F12 on keyboard...keep pressing a boot menu will popup use up/down arrow to navigate scroll down to :boot from cd/dvd option press enter ..DONE after that follow on screen questions.....so easy why u can use google to search how to make this how to make that......

    AS FAR AS I KNOW PUPPY LINUX IS FREE NO CHARGE DO NOT BUY IT.
