I was diagnosed with Crohn's disease in 2008 and have had many complications due to it. Life can get hard with a chronic illness, especially with an autoimmune disease that affects daily activities and causes extreme pain and inconveniences. People don't realize what life is like for people with Crohn's, so I hope this video shines a light on the struggles and triumphs we "Crohnies" go through. My friends and family mean so much to me and I thank them for sticking with me through everything!

You can do all things through Christ who gives you strength, the Lord will settle the worries of your heart, and by His stripes you are healed! He is my hope.

"Got the news today. Doctor said I had to stay a little bit longer and I'll be fine. When I thought it'd all been done, when I thought it'd all been said- a little bit longer and I'll be fine. You don't know what you got 'till it's gone, and you don't know what it's like to feel so low. Every time you smile, you laugh, you glow- you don't even know. All this time goes by, still no reason why- a little bit longer and I'll be fine. Waiting on a cure but none of them are sure- a little bit longer and I'll be fine. You don't know what you got 'till it's gone. And you don't know what it's like to feel so low. Every time you smile, you laugh, you glow- you don't even know. So I wait 'till Kingdom come, all the highs and lows are gone- a little bit longer and I'll be fine." -Jonas Brothers

  • You should try natural remedies! Try Cat's Claw and Slippery Elm! They are designed to reduce inflammation in bowels and help heal. Also, use a diet of pure fruits, vegetables (minus tomato & potato), and meat (minus pork). Works awesomely! I have moderate-severe Crohn's and that's all I got to do to stay healthy. I used to be on Humira but it causes psychological problems, cancer, and horrible infections that can result in amputation or death. I hope this helps :D

  • @socceric17 Thanks for the tips! Unfortunately, I'm on a low-residue diet right now, which means I can't do all that fiber, but I might try it out if/when the doctors let me eat fiber again!
