This is freedom of speech. She is a public servant at best.
Everyone will have the right to make comments. If she can't take that, she should resign from office immediately.

Unbelievable! A civil servant no less! She is allegedly not for censorship but fo "stepping in to tone downa blog"! People like this must be voted out -- or kicked out -- immediately! Who the Hell do they think they are ?!? Somebody cite her the American Constitution pelase, it bearsrepeating every time that they work for us, for we the people, and they do not have powers over us.

We believe in the ILLUSION of democracy, of voting once a year to feel good. Wakey wakey time to bakey a healthy muffin of awakening. The illusion of freedom, the illusion of choice, the illusion that these politicians acting on our behalf. Meanwhile, they receive enormous amount of cash from interests who only are out for themselves and not America not You not even the neighbor.

Scariest part is that as most of us believe that we live in a democracy there are still the ignorant out there who believe that censorship is justifiable in a news and editorial blog. Even the crazies on the left and right have that freedom protected. It's ill read and poorly educated people like this rep who precipitate lawsuits that cost the taxpayers their dollars while they sit on their high horse and are not accountable. NOT THAT IT MATTER BUT EVERYONE GETS THE GOVERNMENT THEY DESERVE.

I agree with Councilmember Hildenbrand. Sometimes the comments ARE offensive and the webmaster SHOULD be more responsible for the content on the site.

LOL. Did this Lady Ever Read the Constitution? I'm going to guess part of her oath to public office said something like "up hold the public trust". In Which our Civil Rights would be implied. ...
