You're talking about "bad bets" and then focus on others as if they are "good bets"....no bet in the casino is good at all times, but each bet is good if you hit them right. I can understand the frustration of the big6/big8 being a "bad bet" because they mimic another bet that pays more....but all the others have no mimic and pay less than true. Don't pass being best bet is still 1.36%, and 3:1 on 2/12 on field bet brings edge to 0% btw.

Big Red is a bad bet because it pays 4 TO 1, which is 5 FOR 1. The $30 you mentioned as winnings includes the $6 wagered. So you win $24 for the 6 times it comes up and lose $30 for the 30 times it doesn't.
