Ever wonder how the Internet works? When you type YouTube.com, or any other domain into your web browser, how does that actually let you reach the site you want? DNS is how!
Our Dyn Ninja Alan will walk you through understanding how DNS, the service that points a domain name to the destination server, works behind the scene to let you visit web sites, send email and more!
Part 1 of our 3 part series.
IMPORTANT question, does this mean that by switching my dns servers to supposed "fast" ones will make me vulnerable? I've been seeing some videos informing that switching to a few specific dns servers will increase internet speed, i tested it out and it actually seemed to work. but, idc how fast it is if it makes my critical information accessible. thank you

hey mate! thanks! great video! i have a question, i was looking at registering my new domain through crazydomains, but it asks if you want to upgrade the dns for extra money... i would be hosting through a different provider, should i do this? or just ignore it? thanks in advance, kristy
