  • It isn't wrong, the terms 'jagdpanzer IV 70' and 'panzer IV 70' are different designations for exactly the same vehicle. Some sources just drop the 'jagd', they're still interchangeable. It utilised the panzer IV chassis. Great paint job! I painted up 2000 points of panzers using this tutorial to an excellent standard in under a week with help from you. Really appreciate this excellent video!

  • This is very good thanks for the painting tips :-)

  • also find ich toll hihi

  • This is not PanzerIV

    this is the JagdPanzerIV

  • Ok, would this be an ok alternate paint scheme?

Early war mixed with late war soft camo

Woodland scenics small bushes with small wire scratched, painted wood, with blach shadowed put on front and in sideskirts

    Continue as regular in video.

Would this be convincing as a late war alternative color scheme???

  • @crony5000 Frankly I'm not sure what model it is- I bought it on a clearance rack with no packaging or documentation. Since then I've switched to an Iwata HP-C Plus, which I absolutely love. I've always used a compressor. If you do a fair amount of airbrushing, you'll save money in the long term.

FYI I've also started thinning my paints with the Vallejo Thinner- the stuff is great and drastically reduces paint separation.

Good luck to you and your airbrushing! :)

  • @FOWJeff What model of Sogolee do you use? also do you use can propellent or a compressor?

  • Could you demonstrate how to paint infantry.

  • Oh man, I wish I had an airbrush.

  • I use a very basic airbrush I found in a local hobby shop, "Sogolee". It's pretty basic, but it gets the job done. :)

I think Vallejo paints with window cleaner- the blue kind that has ammonia in it. It works great and helps keep the nozzle from getting too badly clogged.

My infantry chops aren't as up to speed as my vehicle painting, but you certainly could use alternating gloss/matte varnishes no problem. I usually paint using layering, and don't much use washes or anything like that
