I think the Iran flags with the lions on it are bogus! I support the green movement, but they aren't fighting to bring back the monarchy.

I believe that if a revolution takes place, a monarchy is virtually unsuitable, more so due to the state of the global community. But I believe that the Lion flag is not bogus. People identify the flag of the lion with the Shah and his government. What most people fail to realize is that Iran and even Persia before that have had a long history with the flag of the lion. This history is not bogus.

@simaluvsu oh; well I interpreted waving the lion flag as a support to the complete monarch that was in Iran before the revolution. There needs to be a form of governement like Britain where the monarch is mainly kept for traditional reasons.
