I've read the entire saga, and I can safely say that it's the worst "saga" I've ever read and am ever likely to read. Bella is probably the worst case of Mary Sue-ism in modern literature; her "relationship" with Edward is creepy and downright abusive; the books, especially Breaking Dawn, are embedded with Mormon propaganda; the characters are dull, badly written and idiotic - Bella especially has to be the stupidest, most selfish character I've ever come across and we're supposed to LIKE her?!

I think I halfway agree. I wish the last book had more detail of bella being a vampire and then the relationships with edward. I didn't want the pages of sex in detail but maybe you know how they build up to it. Completely understand although I wasn't a fan of the first book?

The only book that was actually decentwas new moon. But it was still very poorly written.

Read Perfect Chemistry it's just as good and more realistic than twilight it's the next big thing

i really don't think the message of saving yourself for marriage is "ridiculous". not all teens go around having sex and it's a perfectly acceptable message to be sending to young people. considering the kind of character Bella has been all along, was it really that unexpected or unfitting that she was a virgin? i think it just fit with her character and was an apt message to be sending.

@MegaMuffin4568 I didn't say being a virgin is ridiculous, I said I disliked the strong religious undertones and moral preaching behind it, and the fact that Bella gave everything up of her human life or higher education to be with her husband and get married. Not a very empowering message for young girls.
