Since watching "Stalingrad", I have become a big fan of Thomas Kretschmann. He has never given a bad performance in any films he appeared in.

Always convincing, always a first rate actor. And he is so handsome.......Hollywood.....I can't think of an actor who has more sex appeal and talent as a whole package.

His big time will come. He is getting better and better......

Du bist nicht der einzige Mensch der Terroristen hasst. Stell dir mal vor, du trägst die ganze Verantwortung für 91 Menschen, so wie es der Fall von Jürgen Schumann war. Er hat richtig gehandelt. Er ist ruhig geblieben. Er hat für seine Passagiere sein Leben geopfert. Und das ist eine Heldentat. Außerdem war das eine andere Zeit als heute. Das kann man mit heute nicht vergleichen.

I don't think Kretschmann can have learnt to fly with the Army. If he is a pilot with the Luftwaffe,I think the Gruppenführer must have been with the Waffen-SS...
