This fall, Watson School students will be welcomed to the new 125,000-square-foot Engineering and Science Building. The facility brings additional dedicated administrative, academic and research space for one of the fastest-growing engineering schools in the Northeast.

Designed to LEED standards, the building will boast numerous green features that are integrated seamlessly with collaborative and multifunctional spaces. These features include radiant geothermal heating, chilled beams, a two-story photovoltaic wall and a green roof.

The building also has over 25,000 data drops (Internet ports) - more than any other building on campus - and a touch screen interface at the main entrance to enable visitors to locate offices and learn about the building management systems.
