六段の調べの独奏です。
作曲：八橋検校、1614-1685年

Solo of Rokudan no Shirabe (Six Variations). Composed by Yatsuhashi Kengo cir. 1614-1685.

雨の影響によって、琴柱が良く動いていて大変でした。。。（o_o#）

Oddly enough, my 先生 prefers to start off a bit faster than I. It is a matter of what branch of which school you learned it from, and once you get it- personal preference.... that is if your 先生 gives you permission! O_o;

Can u please upload a traditional professional video of rokudan no shirabe,hachidan no shirabe,midare,godan no shirabe and all danmono peice. I also want akikaze no kyouku and chidori no kyouku. Please if u do all peice in pitch of A as I want to.play along with it but the traditional g is to painful for me to play.

I just started practicing this one kept being scolded for making it toooooo slow. Yours version is pretty much similar to my sensei's though she gets really fast from around 3-4dan on

Thanks for this. I've loved this piece since I first heard it in my college days back when dinosaurs roamed the earth (;-9), but this was the first opportunity I've had to see anyone actually play the piece.

.... the closest I have gotten to a western harp is playing a lyre. Not quite the same though. Why is it sad that you play the harp? (kidding)
