@IkarusFlight Actually paramotoring with WPPGA certified gear is by far the safest. It is about 100 times safer than paragliding. Zero deaths have ever occured with WPPGA certified equipment. Paramotoring is the ticket, the motor gives you the ability to fly in safer conditions and to stay high in rougher air. Then it also gives you a huge 57 inch roll cage with a properly designed WPPGA certified paramotor which adds a ton of safety over just a paragliding harness.

There happen more accidents in hang gliding then in Paragliding. This is related to it's higher flight-speed. Which results in worse accidents when something goes wrong with the landing. Paragliding and powered Paragliding are about the same. As imasuper0308 said, Powered Paragliders are not usually flown in active thermic conditions, but they're more often flown near to the ground, so you have less safety-height for the chute. If you check the weather in advance all three are safe.

@lepikhin I'm a hang glider pilot as well. Your logic just failed miserably. I recommend paramotors because hang gliders are a pain in the butt. That's why I stopped flying them. It takes a good 30-45 minutes to setup and then the same to tear down. Hang gliders just don't make sense any more when you can have your paraglider ready to go in less than 26 seconds. All a paramotor and you can launch from McDonalds and fly hundreds of miles. Flat Top Paramotors rule:).

@imasuper0308 Your opinion is biased. You're paramotor dealer.

they should have a super dell reserve .

aren't you tempted to invent a semi-rigid wing made out of very light blades that kind of "clasp" into rigid wing when there's minimal frontal wind?

Yhat is how i'm used to land :P
