The Blue Billion rises again! OR "Lets laugh the pain off!"

now that the overhyped indian team is out of the world cup who will the balmy billion cheer for? there's only one indian left now, with half a shot at lifting the world cup.

This to me is one of the smart ways for Pepsi to respond to the criticism that was heaped on it. For adding to the noise that surrounded the Indian Cricket team during the world cup. And this noise was what many claimed to be the reason for the debacle and more importantly (it seems) our reaction to it as a nation.

We just take our cricket too seriously for our own good.

the smartest way to respond, in such a situation, is with a sense of humour.

Self-deprecatory humour never harmed anybody. People like you more for it. But that's just what I think.
