Lucas's Wake--Part 1

Alone at D&M, Lorna tries to work but can't because she finds herself flashing back to finding Lucas shot, and the moment in the hospital when he put the mercury dime ring on her finger and repeated the same words he said to her when he gave her the mercury dime as a baby. When Lorna emerges from her reverie, she finds Kevin standing there, watching her.

At the wake at TOPS, Felicia moves around in a bit of a fog, hearing everything as if from a great distance, but assuring Rachel that she's fine, really. Rachel tells her to hang in there. Amanda and Sam also hug Felicia and tell her they're there for her for anything she needs.

Donna thinks that the models Iris hired to circulate at the party are in bad taste, even though Spencer says that Lucas gave each of those young women her start in her career. Felicia sides with Iris and tells her the models were a great idea. Felicia and Iris are surprised to find themselves in agreement, but Felicia says that they always agreed on one thing: they both loved Lucas. Then the two women hug, and Iris makes Felicia laugh when one of the models walks by, and Iris asks Felicia, "Couldn't you just rip off their perfect lips?"

Rachel consoles Jenna, who says that when her mother died and there was no funeral for her, it didn't bother Jenna as much because she was used to her mother not being around, but she learned so much from Lucas and loved him so much, and she wishes that she knew it before Lucas died as much as she knows it now. Rachel assures Jenna that Lucas knew how much Jenna loved him, and hugs the girl.


Felicia tells Cass that she wishes Lorna would come to the party, because she hates the thought of Lorna going through all of this alone. Cass tells Felicia that that's Lorna's decision and adds that Felicia has to take care of herself and Jenna now, and keep the party going. Felicia says she's worn out and asks Cass if he... Cass says of course, and calls for everyone's attention.

Cass then starts to make a beautiful, eloquent toast to Lucas...but everything stops cold when Sally Madison arrives and they all stop and stare at her, while Iris angrily mutters about Sally's nerve in showing up. Thanks to Janie for the scenes.

I love how Iris and Felicia have a "a moment" together...and Felicia's right, who would ever have thought *they* would ever agree? lol I also like Donna looks like the wet blanket there since Iris, Felicia, and Spencer all love the idea of Iris's girls (another notch for Iris over Donna, lol). And love Iris's chuckle after her playful comment of ripping out the lips! LOL!
