Love the whole soundtrack to the movie, "A Man for All Seasons." Brass ensembles need to record more of this period music. Audiences go wild when they play even a sampling/one piece in a concert performance. LoisThanksYou
ps thanks babalou for the suggestion to locate more as they are most certainly obscure - like gold. :-)

Reminds me of Basil Poledouris' score to CONAN THE BARBARIAN.

@2012endofanerror Glad you liked it.

@babaloula I took your advice and bought that cd and love it - especially the dance of the Ethiopian Queen - Thank you so much.

Delerue's ANNE OF THE THOUSAND DAYS (1969) has an equally fine "Renaissance" type score, although frustratingly sparse. It was Delerue's first Oscar Nomination. A MAN FOR ALL SEASON's opening music and an alternative cue are both now available from the French compilation of his scores (Six discs). Expensive but worth it.

Could you post "SALVADOR"(finale).
Thank you very much in advance

I agree with TulseLuper as the piece played here is essentially the end music, and not the beginning of the film itself. I hope you will kindly oblige.....

Could you please post the music played during the opening credits?

f you like this you should try to listen to David Munrow and his music from the court of Henry VIII. Bit obscure but worth finding.
