This is one of our jets landing on the "Big E". Video taken from the Vultures Row lookout point on the port side of the island.

  • what that lil roo and radio in that jet??

  • They were on that det. I believe it was them in one of the Foxtrots.

  • does the ship move of shutter when one of these birds land?

  • Yes, you can feel the deck vibrate a bit whenever a Super Hornet catches the wire. You can especially feel and hear it if you are in the berthing directly underneath the landing area.

  • Thats not an Echo model, see that back seat.

  • Oops! I uploaded the Foxtrox video rather than the Echo video and got the title messed up. I will upload the other videos later on.

  • this video would be better if it was an f-14...

hornets by mandate, tomcats by choice!

  • a-12 são paulo dream

  • Yea it sucks when your trying to sleep right below during flight ops,.. And it does get pretty loud.. but the noise u hear at the end of this video is another bird up on cats 1 or 2 going up on high power for its shot.. pretty loud though,, it shakes your bones, fun as hell

  • wow its amazing loud as hell

  • How does it feel to, for he first time, see one of these planes land on a carrier? I'm addicted to flying and have FSX where carriers are relatively good and they made an arrestor program which works real nice, but I guess it's not the kick you get when you see one landing in reallife:P

  • Its scary XD

  • It looks like the plane caught the #4 wire.

  • , I am building the revell model of this. its so cool. just matching the main bits so far. its got a good vibe
