A game (not unlike Namco's "Rally X") where you collect "plates" so that you can clear the round you're on. There are a few enemies around to help lower your life count but there are also some power ups to help you along.

  • I'm going by memory here...

The blue cars kinda follow your path and try to crash into your car. They sometimes get stuck for periods of time.

The green cars appear to be "attached" to the wall on their immediate right. You'll notice it on Round 31.

The orange cars follow you like the blue ones but if you face them they turn 180 degrees. They try to sneak up on you from behind.

  • For some reason this sounds like final countdown to me

  • don't shoot at random if you got only 1 L!!

My friend in the childhood used to finish this game at the arcade using only 1 token and beating a last Yellow Dragon Fly. Epic game!

The "Ant-made" crafts flee if you u-turn towards them quickly but will come back after you as soon as they can. The blue ones are the most dangerous since tend to pursue you following the exact places you pass by. The pink ones simply aim at you wherever you are without following patterns, and so on(character limit out)

  • I've played alot of games in my time... And I'm surprised I've never even heard of this one until today. Fired it up in MAME and am now hooked. Simple concept, yet deep gameplay. Love it!

  • it does have another ending, when the guy from the bike reflects some kind of laser with a mirror but that dependes on the route you take

  • same here. i also have in Taito Legends Powered Up for the PSP

  • Raimais is still epic today!

  • i think it did, however it had 2 endings. but the ending you got depended on the route you took.

  • This must be the European version of Raimais since it just shows the credits over a destroyed fortress when you beat the game. Didn't the Japanese version have a different and much better ending?

  • I like this game. I got this game on Taito Legends 2!
