A grand Piano at the Muzyq building in Amsterdam. If you're used to playing melodies on training pianos, then the sound of a Grand Piano like this was... amazing. More expensive, but loved every second of it.
Song is called Praeludium 1 (call me a noob for not knowing if this is the vast title to this song, or if the number is refered to the place of the melody in the book), written by Johann Sebastian Bach. If you like this music, I recommend you find out more on Ludovico Einaudi, a modern Pianist who released two amazing albums that Im learning to play as I post this. The album names are Devenire and Nightbook, two relaxing chill-out piano albums.
I learned this song as part of my Harpsichord (Clavecin in French, or Clavecimbel in Dutch) training many years ago. But the song still stuck with me, it's a very good warm-up.
I can play better, with a bit more training, but there are some mistakes in here. Would love to find out what people think about how well/bad I add feeling to the song..?
Beautiful! Maybe it could be better but this really is good. Great emotion. Keep doing it. You ever think about putting this clip up on that AmIaGoodMusician, com site too? It's right up your alley...you might rate pretty well and get some more opinions. Check it out, you'll see....
