The jews didn't even exist until the southern 2 tribes of Judah and Benjamin were kicked out of Israel by the northern 10 tribes of Israel.

Then and only then did they become the 'jews'. In other words, not even 1 Hebrew was a 'jew'. Not even one Israelite was a jew.
