Ace Combat 6: How to Beat Mission 9 in 5 mins

This video shows how to beat the Aigion Command Cruiser which you'll face in mission 9. I got frustrated trying to use air to air fighter jets so I thought, how do you take out a airport with wings, the Aigion, the same way you'd take out an airport. That's when I whipped out my A-10 and armed it with Fuel-Air Explosive Bombs, the rest is history. Enjoy the show guys.

dude! i beat this mission in 4 minutes with XMAS A10 And RCL , just 1 shot to gyges or kottos and they will get down ..

Man I tried to destroy that thing with the A-10 as well. Still died like 5 times. This mission is getting on my nerves like crazy!! I hit that big plan like 8 times with it and it never went down. There was nothing else to hit. Then went after the others. Shot 2 down and then I got shot down lol. I actually did better with the F-14

The second time, I though unguided bombs (UGB) would be fun, so I used the SU-47 Idolmaster with those. That was also pretty easy.

The one thing I hadn't thought of was using the bomblet dispenser on the Tornado Gr.4. I hate this weapon. It sucks on ground targets, so I thought it had to suck on air targets. I equipped that and beat the mission quicker than I ever did using AA weapons on fighters. Man are unconventional ways of killing things fun :D

I was pretty bored, so I decided to try to beat this mission in tough ways. Turns out these tough ways were actually easier than using AA weapons.

First, I used the A-10A Idolmaster (DLC) with FAEB. Damn was that easy, I beat it in about 3 min. The Idolmaster version of the A-10 can go over 1200knts so I got to the cruiser pretty fast.

I remember my friends and I used this stratagy in the Co-op mission a few weeks after the game came out. Im amazed this many people still dont know about this trick. It looks even cooler when your way off from it, looks like theirs a huge Mushroom cloud XD
