It was used by men and some women in power as a political tool, to steal other countries resources, control the masses (like the Popes, the Imams and the Rabbi's) but religion it self is a source of strength and wisdom for many people to get through this harsh life. Do I believe in blind obedience to the church, mosque or synagogue run by mere humans, no i do not.
