  • I agree, check Canadian crappie king for an easy method to utilize all of the fish.

  • i have cleaned thousands of crappies--what a waste of fish by not cutting the ribs out and saving the meat!

  • Can't you just run your knife UNDER the rib cage and keep that meat thats there rather than cutting out that whole chunk? The filets look nice otherwise, from someone who hasn't had much experience fileting fish.
